Final
Analysis
In conclusion, our data showed that while students reported that eating healthy was important to them, the main factor in grocery shopping was price over preference. Our survey questions were geared toward the sociological and interpersonal factors that affect the aspects of the food shopping habits of students at Florida State University. Additionally, we asked our participants about their campus involvement, and the data we collected showed that the 102 students who we surveyed participate in a broad range of organizations here at FSU. Finally, we asked those we surveyed to write in what holds them back from buying organic foods, and they replied with some of the quotes below.

Do Students Buy Organic Food?
"I normally buy organic meat, but other things I normally don't buy because it is more expensive"
"It depends on the product. Things can be labeled organic even if their not so I buy organic products when they taste better to offset the higher cost."
"I don't care if it's organic, I prefer my food genetically modified so I know it's great"
"I usually don't pay attention to that"
"Organic farming and products are misleading at best, they're over-priced and for no valid reason. People are led to believe that organic produce had never been touched by pesticides but that is usually very false, organic farmers can not only use pesticides but the "organic" pesticides tend to be more harmful for the environment than pesticides that GMO farmers use. An extension of this, as brought up by the question below, something that is labeled "all natural" is something I am more likely to avoid as I associate any company using such a meaningless label as one that does not understand science and my trust in their product is lost."
"Depends if the quality looks better or how much more it costs"
"Too expensive"
